PC Taking Ages to Boot After Forced Shutdown, Help!

My PC has been stuck on the boot screen for an eternity after I forcefully shut it down while playing Roblox. I heard it might be running fsck. I've waited almost two hours and even tried unplugging and replugging my PC. I had set Flameshot to open on startup, and now I'm thinking maybe I should let it run overnight to see if it eventually boots up. Just for context, I'm using Linux Mint Cinnamon 22.1 with an Intel i3-3245, 8GB DDR3 RAM, and an Nvidia GT 1030. Also, I had to cancel a KDE installation with Ctrl + C before this happened. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Have you thought about trying to boot in safe mode? It might help you check for any issues that are preventing startup.

Isn't safe mode a bit buggy on Linux? Just curious.
