PC Won’t Display Video After Transport—What Could Be Wrong?

Hey everyone, I'm having an issue with my gaming PC that won't POST after transporting it. Here are the specs:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600
- Motherboard: MACHINIST B450 TFA AM4
- GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1070
- RAM: 16GB DDR4
- Storage: 128GB NVMe SSD + 1TB HDD
- OS: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit
- Monitor: VX2418-P FHD at 144Hz

The problem is that while the PC powers on with all the fans and RGB lights working, I'm not getting any video output. The GPU fans spin briefly and then stop, and I don't see any beeping or LED indicators on the motherboard. I've tried clearing the CMOS, testing RAM sticks in different slots, reseating the GPU, and even using a minimal setup with just the CPU, one RAM stick, and the GPU connected. I also tried different monitor cables, but nothing seems to work.

I bought this PC from a seller who showed me it working right before pickup, and I transported it carefully. I'm wondering if this could be a motherboard issue, a problem with the CPU memory controller, or something else entirely. Are there any additional tests or troubleshooting steps I could try at home before taking it to a repair shop? Really appreciate any suggestions!

Just to add, sometimes it’s as simple as a video driver issue. Try connecting your monitor directly to the motherboard’s video output instead of the GPU. If you get video from there, you can then configure the GPU settings.

From what you've described, it sounds like the issue might be with the CPU or motherboard. I've dealt with similar situations before where everything powers up but there's no video. If you're comfy doing so, I suggest reseating the CPU. Since the seller works on PCs, you should definitely reach out to them for support too. I've seen similar problems with second-gen Ryzen processors, so if it becomes a hassle, swapping out the CPU for a cheap used one might be a solid option.

Does your PC restart on its own during this?

Not really. The system stays powered on with the fans running; it doesn’t restart suddenly. The GPU fans just stop after the initial boot-up.
