I'm new to cybersecurity and I had a strange experience on Discord about 40 minutes ago. Someone came through my mic saying the N word several times in a joking way. I'm worried that my laptop might be hacked since I noticed many open ports. Can anyone help me figure out if my laptop is compromised? How can I tell which ports should be open and which ones look suspicious? I used the command 'netstat -ano' to view all local and foreign addresses, as well as listening and established connections.

It sounds like it could be someone using a soundboard. Those can play pre-recorded audio over Discord, so it might not be a hack at all. Still, it's good to check your system for security breaches. You might want to run antivirus software just to be safe!
Don't try to downplay this! If you're concerned, you should consider notifying someone. It's always better to be safe than sorry, especially if you think there's a security issue.
What do you mean by 'came through your mic'? Did someone join a voice chat and actually use your mic, or did you just hear it through your speakers? It's important to clarify so we can help you better!
It was probably just audio coming from someone else; I doubt they took over your mic.
Can you explain how soundboards work? I've never heard of that before.
