We're super excited (and a bit nervous) because we're just 5 days away from launching our very first developer tool! It's a DevOps solution focused on secrets management—think of it as a lightweight, developer-friendly alternative to tools like Doppler or Vault. The alpha version will be free for everyone, and we have about 150 people waiting to try it out.
We're hosting everything on Azure and have approximately $2,000 in free credits remaining. I'm reaching out to the community for advice on a few key areas:
1. Cost optimization: What unexpected things tend to consume credits quickly?
2. Monitoring/alerts: What should we have in place from day one?
3. Scaling tips: How can we scale safely if we experience a sudden spike in usage?
4. Any common pitfalls we should avoid during our initial launch?

It really depends on your infrastructure setup. If you're running everything on a dedicated VM, that can be a different ballpark compared to using Azure services like API Management and a database. Make sure to clarify what you're using to get better advice!
