Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my setup with an RTX 5070Ti GPU and an R7 5700X3D CPU on an AM4 motherboard. While my benchmark shows above-average results, I'm experiencing some performance issues in certain games. For example, I ran Helldivers at 1080p with all settings maxed out and saw around 110fps. My GPU usage was between 85-95%, but the CPU was only around 50-55%. I also tried Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 and compared it to a YouTube video where someone used the same CPU with an RTX 5070, and my results were similar or even worse. I wanted to get some insight on whether my CPU and GPU are performing to their fullest potential without overclocking. Is it possible that my 1080p settings or even Windows 10 could be affecting performance? Appreciate any help!

Hey! First off, did you uninstall your old GPU drivers using the DDU tool before installing the RTX 5070Ti? If not, that could definitely cause some issues with performance.
If you came from a GTX 1660Ti, you'd want to wipe the old drivers out. You can use the uninstall option, but DDU is your best bet for a clean slate!
After running DDU, if you're still not seeing a change in benchmarks, it might be related to Windows 10 settings or even background apps affecting performance. Double-check if there are any unnecessary applications running during your benchmarks.
Oh man, I forgot to do that too! Is it really a big deal if I’ve already installed the new GPU? What should I do now?
