I'm currently using Life360 with my boyfriend as a way to rebuild trust while he's on a work trip. He informed me that he went to sleep at 1am and activated airplane mode on his Samsung phone. However, I noticed that the app shows his location changing throughout the night—at 2am, 4am, and even 5am—within different areas of the hotel. Could this be due to a glitch with airplane mode, or is it possible he was actually moving around during that time? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve heard from a friend who used Life360 that sometimes it can get the location totally wrong, particularly in fluctuating environments like hotels. If the app shows wild changes, it might just be a fault with the GPS, not necessarily him wandering around. But if it’s showing him way off from where he should be, that’s definitely something to question!
I've dealt with GPS inaccuracies indoors before, so it's possible the movements you see are just glitches. Don't take the app's location as absolute, especially in a building.
Honestly, it’s kind of surprising you’re questioning this in the first place. But I get it, it’s tough when trust is on the line!
Activating airplane mode can definitely mess with GPS signals. It might seem like he's moving when he’s actually not, but if he was trying to hide what he was doing, that could explain the strange locations.
If you're already having doubts about him while he's away, maybe the issue runs deeper than just the app. Just something to consider.
He did go on a work trip to a questionable area, so I'm definitely worried!
I know, I’m just not very tech-savvy and don’t really understand how these apps work yet. Any tips?
