I spilled half a glass of water on my Lenovo Legion 5i Pro and panicked, leaving it on for about 5 minutes. The screen went black, and the keyboard felt squishy from the water. I then turned it upside down and waited 10 minutes before trying to turn it on again. The RGB lights on the keyboard flashed, but the screen didn't turn on. I've since removed the back panel and battery to help it dry out, but I noticed some water spilled out while I was doing that. I'm on holiday, so I can't fully disassemble it. How long should I let it dry, how bad is the damage, and what should I do next before taking it to a repair shop?

Honestly, if you had it running for 5 minutes while wet, it might have caused serious damage. I'd suggest propping it up with a fan blowing air on it for a day or two to dry it out completely. Just keep your hopes low for getting it back to life, but it's worth a shot!
Thanks for the tip! I'll try the fan method for sure.
