I'm experiencing random freezes with Manjaro on my HP Omen 15 laptop, which has an R7 5800H and an RTX 3060. I dual boot with Windows, and while Windows runs fine, Manjaro completely freezes and forces me to shut down using the power button. I'm looking for guidance on how to start troubleshooting this issue. Any advice would be appreciated!

Have you considered reinstalling your desktop environment or trying out different GPU drivers? Sometimes hardware compatibility can cause these random lock-ups. It might help to give that a shot if you haven't already!
Just a thought—does Windows ever have issues like BSOD or locking up? If it's only happening on Manjaro, we might have to look deeper into your specific configuration.
No, Windows is working perfectly with no lock ups at all.
You might want to check out the Manjaro Forum for tailored support. I've been using Manjaro with XFCE for about 5 years, and it's been a lifesaver for me whenever I had issues. You can also search Google for "manjaro random freezes forum" to see if anyone else has faced similar problems. Good luck!
Thanks for the suggestion!
Actually, I did a fresh install after using Manjaro GNOME for half a year without any issues. But now I'm using Mint, and it seems to be running fine. I tried a fix I found on the Manjaro forum, but it didn’t work for me.
