Hey everyone, I'm feeling pretty burnt out at my current job in NYC. I've been there for four years, and after switching to a smaller team, I'm now the only frontend engineer left after my colleague quit. Most of my work is mundane tasks like tweaking colors and padding, and honestly, it's making me feel like I'm not learning anything valuable. I'm in dire need of a new job. I'm comfortable with Vue, but I've noticed that almost all job listings require React experience, which I haven't used in about five years. I'm torn between focusing on getting interview-ready with skills I already have in Vue, or taking the plunge to learn React at the same time. I'm worried about how long it might take to prepare for interviews while also learning a new framework. What should I do?

If you can find a job that uses Vue, you might be happier and more productive there. But remember, learning a new framework like React won't hurt your chances either. It might even open more doors for you. Just be sure to weigh your options based on what you enjoy doing more!
