I'm putting together a sleek black build and I've already got my 9800X3D set up. I'm looking for suggestions on what motherboard would fit well. I currently have a 3080 GPU, but I'm planning to upgrade to a 5080 in the future, so it would be great if the motherboard supported PCIe 5. Any recommendations?

The Asrock Challenger in black is a solid option and it won’t break the bank! But just a heads-up, if you're thinking of spending more, there are definitely some pricier boards that could offer better features. Just make sure your budget aligns with what you need!

Haha, I've heard mixed reviews about Asrock; I've seen people argue about how they handle AMD CPUs. But it sounds like they’ve resolved a lot of those issues.

True, every update claims to fix things and yet there's always drama about it!

It depends on your GPU choice too! If you're set on the 3080 now and the 5080 later, you'll want something that's compatible with both.

Yeah, I'm currently using a 3080 with plans for the 5080 too!
