Recommendations for a Compact ATX Case for Continuous High CPU Load

Hey folks! I'm on the hunt for a compact PC case that can handle a CPU running at over 75% load, 24/7. I'm looking for something that offers great thermal performance and can accommodate a liquid cooling solution to help dissipate the heat effectively.

I have two main criteria:
- **Compact Size**: Since I'm not using a dedicated GPU, I want the smallest case possible that can fit any motherboard size (including mATX and ITX). I really dislike seeing lots of empty space in a big tower.
- **High-Quality Build**: I want a case that feels solid and premium. No cheap plastic for me—I'm thinking along the lines of heavy steel, tempered glass, or even real wood.

What are the best compact ATX cases out there that fit this professional vibe and can keep a CPU cool under constant load?

*Edit: I'm open to considering smaller motherboards and AIO sizes like 240mm as long as they can reliably support a powerful CPU like the Ryzen 9950X and maintain that high-end feel.*

Given that you'll be running this system 24/7, have you thought about using an air cooler instead of an AIO? Air coolers generally offer better reliability and fewer potential failure points, which might be something to consider for constant workloads.

I’m keen to try out an AIO since I’ve never owned one before. Just curious about the experience!

You might want to rethink the mandatory ATX motherboard requirement. There are plenty of ITX and mATX cases out there that could work better for your needs. Once you go to ATX, finding a good spot for the PSU and the AIO can get tricky, and you'll likely end up with a large case that feels wasted.

For alternative suggestions, the O11 Dynamic Mini V3 allows some ATX motherboards and can fit a 360 AIO, but that’s going to be pretty roomy. If you're set on a 280 AIO, the Jonsbo D41 Mesh is compact but still might feel a bit empty when set up with ATX.

If you consider switching to mATX, the Lian Li A3 could be a solid option, or check out the SSUPD Meshroom D and S models—they could be perfect for your setup.
