I'm currently using a single monitor for my PS5 gaming and as a secondary display for my laptop. I need to find a way to connect both devices without compromising on screen quality or breaking the bank. I'm really looking for a good splitter or switch that can handle this setup. Any suggestions?

I recommend checking out the Feintech SW210. It's reliable and gets the job done without sacrificing quality!
Have you considered a KVM switch? You might not need that much complexity for just two devices, though. An HDMI switch would likely be sufficient.
If your monitor doesn't have more than one input, this HDMI switch should do the trick: [link]. It's affordable and should work well for switching between your PS5 and laptop.
Before you invest in a splitter, check if your monitor has multiple input ports. A lot of modern monitors do! But if you only have one input, you actually need a switch, not a splitter. A splitter duplicates the same signal for two outputs, while a switch lets you choose between different devices. Look into some good HDMI switches and find one that matches your needs! Just a heads up, be mindful of HDCP compatibility as it might cause some hiccups.

Good point! A KVM seems a bit excessive for my setup, I'll stick with the HDMI switch.
