Hey everyone! I've been experiencing some frustrating shutdowns on my PC while gaming, and it seems like my power supply might be the culprit since I have to switch it off and on to get it to boot again. Here's the setup I'm working with:

- **CPU:** Ryzen 9 9800X3D
- **Motherboard:** Asus ROG Strix B650E-E
- **GPU:** Asus Astral RTX 5090
- **Case:** Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL

I'm already looking at a few options:

- Lian Li Edge 1300W Platinum
- NZXT C1200 Gold 1200W
- MSI MPG A1250GS 1250W

Since I'm based in Peru, I need something that stays under **$200** to avoid extra import taxes. If anyone has personal experiences or suggestions for power supplies that can easily handle my build, especially with the 5090 and 9800X3D, I'd really appreciate your input! Thanks a bunch!

Honestly, I wouldn’t go with any of those you listed. I’d recommend looking into Seasonic or Silverstone instead—those brands have solid reputations for reliability.

I’ve had a Seasonic and my current Asus Thor (which is a Seasonic OEM) both failed me after three years. So, I'm a bit wary of Seasonic now. I might give Silverstone a shot though!

You might want to check out the Montech Century II 1200W—it's only around $125 and gets good reviews on the tier lists for performance.

The Lian Li Edge is a solid pick, especially if your case has dual chambers. It also includes a USB hub which can help manage cables if you're going for a cleaner look with your build. Just keep in mind that you might need to ensure it's compatible with your setup before pulling the trigger!

Have you checked if you’re using any cable extensions? Those can sometimes cause issues. I almost swapped out my PSU because of cables, but it turned out to be a bad extension. I'm still using the same Corsair HX750i after 10 years! If you haven't already, try the stock cables first to see if that fixes it.
