I'm part of a small startup looking for advice on which Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution to choose that is Windows-focused. Currently, we have 4 ThinkPad E14 laptops (i3 Gen 7), and we're planning to grow to around 15 within the next few months. I need something user-friendly and not too complex.
Here are our basic requirements:
- Ability to install/uninstall apps and enforce updates
- Remote lock/wipe capabilities
- Data protection to prevent sensitive files from being shared externally
- Location tracking for theft recovery
- Web filtering
- Remote control features
Cost is a consideration since we're just starting, but I don't mind spending more as we scale. I've looked into Hexnode, but I'm curious about other options. What do you all recommend?

Since you're focused on Windows, have you considered using Intune? If you already have or plan to get Microsoft 365 licenses, it can cover most of your needs, including support for Android devices. Just keep in mind that Intune might not cover all the location tracking you want, but it’s definitely a solid option.

We haven’t got M365 licenses yet but have been using Google Workspace. I’ll check into Intune as a possible replacement for what we’ve been using.
