I've been having this frustrating issue where Roblox won't start after the installer finishes running. It started when I tried to open a game and it took longer than expected, so I clicked on it multiple times. Now, even after a full Windows reset where I removed everything, the game still doesn't start. I've checked Task Manager, and there's no sign of the Roblox process running.
Here's a step-by-step of what I've done so far:
1. Clicked "Play" on a Roblox game.
2. The installer runs and completes, but then nothing happens – no error messages or anything.
To troubleshoot, I've already:
- Reset Windows 10/11 completely (Remove everything).
- Used DDU in Safe Mode to reinstall all GPU drivers (NVIDIA/AMD/Intel).
- Reinstalled the Microsoft Visual C++ redistributables (2015-2022).
- Tested gaming in Safe Mode with Networking (still no luck).
- Disabling Windows Defender Antivirus (real-time protection off).
- Created a new local Windows user to test again.
- Allowed Roblox through the Windows Firewall.
- Ran commands like `sfc /scannow` and `chkdsk /r` with no issues reported.
System specs:
- OS: Windows 11 Pro 23H2
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060
- RAM: 16GB DDR4
- Storage: Patriot P300 512GB NVMe
- Antivirus: Windows Defender (currently disabled)
I'm completely stumped here – any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried using Revo Uninstaller to completely remove Roblox? It can clear out leftover files and registry entries which might be causing conflicts. After that, do a clean reinstall of Roblox and see if that helps!
That’s so annoying, especially after a full PC reset!

One sec lemme try that!
