Hey everyone, I'm having a major issue trying to set up my Wi-Fi network. I followed the instructions on the box and when I entered the usual IP addresses like 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.1.1 in my browser, I just get an error message. I've also factory reset the router and tried using the WPS button, but nothing seems to work. My ISP was pretty unhelpful as well; they just suggested I unplug the router and plug it back in, which didn't solve anything. Now, they want to send someone out for a $100 service call, and I'm hoping to avoid that. Any ideas?

It sounds like there might be a specific error you’re running into. Can you share the exact error message you're seeing on your browser? Also, knowing the model of your router could help in troubleshooting further.
Make sure you're connected directly to the router via an Ethernet cable instead of Wi-Fi. This can often provide a more stable connection for accessing the router's settings. Once you're connected, run 'ipconfig' and check the default gateway address to use in your browser.
Try checking your network settings! You can search for 'ncpa.cpl' in Windows, right-click your network adapter, and check the 'Details' to find the IPV4 default gateway. That address is the one you should enter into your browser.
You can also use the command prompt by typing 'command prompt' in the search bar, then enter 'ipconfig'. Look for 'Default Gateway' to find the proper IP address.
I have an Arris Surfboard SBG-6700-AC. I keep getting the 'ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH' error when I try 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.0.2.
