I'm trying to decide between the RX 9070 for $599 and the RTX 5070 for $499. I've heard that the RX 9070 outperforms the RTX 5070 by around 9% in terms of raw performance. However, the RTX 5070 offers better features and has only 12GB of VRAM. I'm currently gaming at 1080p but plan to upgrade to a 1440p monitor soon. Any advice? Thanks!

Honestly, for $100 less, I’d lean towards the RTX 5070. As a current RX 9070 owner, I think the price difference is substantial, and at 1080p, it’s a solid choice!
While the RX 9070 does have that slight edge in performance, keep in mind that the RTX 5070’s VRAM can translate to better FPS over time, especially as games demand more resources. Honestly, I don’t see any reason to choose the 5070.

What about 1440p? Would the 5070 still be good for that?
