I'm looking to rebuild my gaming setup specifically for 1440p performance. Currently, I've got a decent system but I want to make sure I choose something that won't bottleneck my gaming experience. Here's what I have right now: a Ryzen 5 5600x, a GeForce 3060 Ti Founder's Edition, a 1.256TB SSD, and 16GB of DDR4 RAM, all housed in a MagForce 100m case. I recently canceled an order for a 5070 because I think my CPU would limit its performance due to the 12GB VRAM. I'm also considering gradually upgrading to an AM5 platform. My goal is to create a balanced, future-proof setup that offers great value. My budget is €2,000 and I have a preference for Nvidia graphics cards. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

If you're aiming to make good use of that €2,000 budget, I'd recommend going for the AM5 platform. It allows more headroom for future upgrades compared to sticking with AM4.

But if I stay with AM4, won't that limit my upgrade options significantly?
