Seeking Advice on Dual Booting with Linux and Windows

After switching to Linux Mint on my HP Omen 15, I've faced some challenges with my setup. I've replaced my original 500GB NVMe drive with a new 1TB NVMe drive for Linux while leaving the original Windows 10 installation intact on another drive. Unfortunately, I can't boot from the Windows drive connected via USB or after cloning it onto another SATA drive. Moreover, my attempts to switch between operating systems involve physically swapping the drives, which isn't ideal. I'm looking for advice on how to set up a proper dual boot system instead of this cumbersome process. My goal is to have the flexibility to easily switch between Linux and Windows without all the hassle. Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

Have you considered using a virtual machine for Windows instead? Tools like Virtual Machine Manager on Linux can help you set up and run a Windows instance without needing to dual-boot. This method tends to work well for most uses and might save you a lot of trouble.

Thanks for the suggestion! I did think about going the VM route, but I found out that some games my kids play, like Roblox and Fortnite, have issues with virtual machines due to anti-cheat software.
