Hey everyone! I'm pretty new to building PCs, and since my laptop is reaching the end of the road, I'm excited to take this next step. I've put together a modified version of the PCMasterRace High-End build and would love your feedback. Here's a rundown of the components I've chosen:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- **Motherboard:** Gigabyte B650 EAGLE AX ATX AM5 Motherboard
- **GPU:** Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 9070 XT 16 GB
- **RAM:** Silicon Power Value Gaming 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30
- **SSD:** Kingston NV3 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME
- **Cooler:** Thermalright Frozen Prism 70.4 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
- **PSU:** Lian Li EDGE GOLD 850W 80+ Gold Certified
- **Case:** Fractal Design North XL ATX Full Tower Case
I'm looking for any feedback you might have on my build. Here are a few specific things I'm curious about:
- Are there any major issues or flaws I might have overlooked?
- Do you think any of the components are mismatched in quality?
- Have you heard anything about these parts failing or not performing well?
- Where would you recommend buying these components? I'm based in Montreal, Canada.
- Any general advice on the building process would be really appreciated!
This is right at the top of my budget, so if there are any ways to save costs without significantly impacting performance, I'd love to hear them. Thanks for your help!

I've heard that the Kingston NV3 often uses QLC flash, which can be less durable and slow down over time. You might want to consider upgrading to a drive with TLC flash for better longevity, like the TeamGroup MP33 or Patriot P400 Lite. Those could provide better performance in the long run.
