Hey folks! I'm in the process of choosing a Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) provider, and I'm realizing that a lot of the marketing out there feels pretty generic. I'm really interested in hearing about any practical experiences you've had with different vendors. What's it like to use their services day-to-day? I'm especially curious about how easy they are to integrate, how user-friendly their management interfaces are, and their actual performance in a real-world setting. I'm also interested in any hidden costs or challenges you've run into. Have you found any features that were overhyped or disappointing? Any insights on the strengths and weaknesses of various vendors would be super helpful!

We switched to Zscaler and really love their VPN alternative, ZPA. However, the need for hosting your own app connectors and service edges can be a hassle. Integrating with M365 E5 and Yubikey has been more complicated than I expected, especially with all the URL exclusions required for Intune. We're in a regulated industry, so Zscaler was kinda mandatory, but if it were up to me, I’d opt for something like Prisma or FortiSASE with an on-prem appliance instead.
As a fairly new user of Cato, I have to say it’s been as straightforward as they claimed during sales calls. Long-term users I've talked to find it easy to manage, and so far everything has matched what I found in my research. Only a few months in, but I definitely don’t regret choosing them!

Totally agree! Cato is user-friendly and highly customizable. Their trial process is super flexible, and their support is always on point. It feels almost too good to be true, but they’ve really impressed me.
