I've been having a weird issue with my keyboard after I cleaned it with compressed air. The left shift key sometimes works and sometimes it doesn't for the letters A, D, F, J, K, L, Z, B, and N. I also noticed that the right shift key has similar problems, mostly with Z, B, and N. It's really inconsistent; sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, and I've tried troubleshooting to no avail. Additionally, after the cleaning, I had to turn off my numlock because it started spamming the / key. I've checked the keys and even removed them to clean them better, but I'm stumped.

It sounds like something got messed up during your cleaning. If it was working fine before, there could be some dirt or liquid residue causing the issues now. Sometimes when you use compressed air, it can push stuff around instead of just blowing it out. You might want to take a closer look at the affected keys, too, just to see if there's any debris stuck under them.

I get that, cleaning can be a hassle! Just be careful with compressed air; it can cause moisture to build up. If the keys are still giving you trouble, it might be worth considering a full keyboard replacement, especially if you’ve already had issues with the caps lock key.
