I've been getting warnings from CrystalDiskInfo about sectors C5 and C6 showing up as yellow indicators on my hard drive, which is an ST2000DM008-2FR102 with a capacity of 2000.3 GB, and I'm currently running Windows 11. The tool has also reported that there are 8 uncorrectable sectors. I'm wondering if I should go ahead and back up my data and consider purchasing a new hard drive now before things get worse?

You really want to back up anything that you can't replace before the hard drive fails completely. It's common for HDDs to start failing gradually, so migrating to a new one at the first signs of trouble is smart.
Definitely backup your important files and look to buy a new drive ASAP. Those warnings are serious! It's always better to be safe when it comes to potential hard drive failures.

Thanks for the advice! I didn't notice the alert until today, but I'm planning to buy a new drive soon. How much time do I have to transfer my data?
