I was watching a video from CNET about pairing a Quest 2 to a PC, and I clicked on a link for the Meta Quest app that redirected me to a Bitly site. I checked the link using VirusTotal, and it flagged it for phishing. I also tried adding a '+' at the end of the link, and that version showed up clean. Should I be concerned about the phishing alert, or am I in the clear since I didn't download anything?

Bitly is just a link shortener, so it can definitely hide potentially malicious links. While the tool itself isn't dangerous, a bad actor could use it to disguise harmful URLs. As long as you didn’t download or run anything from that site, you’re likely fine. Just be cautious with anything you come across.
Yeah, as long as you’re not seeing any weird ads or pop-ups, it sounds like you might be overreacting. Just keep an eye on things.

Got it, I didn’t download anything and just scanned the actual site, which was clean. Maybe I’m just being overly cautious?
