I've been thinking a lot about privacy and data protection when using ChatGPT. Do you think I should be worried about how much it knows about me? Is there any way to ensure it's protecting my data? Also, can I make it forget things if I want to?

Honestly, it's a valid concern. Data breaches happen, and while companies claim to protect our data, it doesn't always reflect reality. It's a good idea to keep personal details to a minimum. If you do decide to share something personal, just know it could be a trade-off for getting better responses.

That makes sense! Just so hard to balance usefulness with privacy.

I get where you're coming from! I think a lot about how accurate models can reflect our thoughts. While it's spooky that it can profile us so well, I believe they don’t currently sell user data. The real worry is what happens in the future, right?

Yeah, it sounds like something out of a sci-fi movie!

You can actually manage your settings to delete data. Just be aware of how much information you share with other services like Google and social media too, as they collect a lot of data over time.
