I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card and have my eye on the AMD 7800XT 16GB model. On eBay, there's a Gigabyte 7800XT with 3-fans for $465, while Newegg has a Sapphire Radeon version with 2-fans for about $450. I'm a bit torn and could use some advice on which one to go for. Any thoughts?

When comparing a 2-fan and a 3-fan model of the 7800XT, the main differences lie in how they cool and their noise levels. A 3-fan model generally keeps things cooler and quieter thanks to the bigger heatsink. The 2-fan version might be better if you're tight on space, but it might run a bit louder to keep the temps down. Performance-wise, both should handle gaming almost the same, so it really depends on your setup and noise tolerance.
If the Newegg option is new compared to the used one on eBay, I'd definitely lean towards the new card. It comes with a warranty, plus it's a bit cheaper. I totally get that the 9070 is a better choice, but I understand the budget situation you're in.

That makes sense! I appreciate the insight. Just curious, though: has anyone had experiences with the 2-fan version? I'm wondering if people have had any issues with it.
