I'm debating whether to purchase a second-hand system from a friend for about $560. It includes a Ryzen 5900x and a 3070ti GPU with 16GB DDR4 RAM. However, I'm also considering building a new PC with a Ryzen 5 9600x and a 9060xt with 16GB DDR5 for around $1,300. My primary use will be gaming on a 2K screen, as well as using FL Studio for music production and streaming. Given the recent RAM price hikes, is the second-hand option a good deal in 2026, or should I invest in a new build?
