Hey everyone, I'm a bit unsure about whether now is a good time to buy the RTX 5090. I know there's a new RTX 6090 expected next year or early 2027, so I'm wondering if it's already too late to get the 5090 this month. What do you all think?

Honestly, the waiting game never ends. There's always something new just around the corner! If you need the GPU now, just go for it!
The 5000 series might see discounts around late August or early September. I'm also planning to grab a 5090 soon since it has more VRAM than what the 6090 will offer.
Getting the 5090 now could be a smart move. If you keep waiting for the 6090, pretty soon you'll be debating about the 7090, and then the 8090! It's all about avoiding that fear of missing out. Just think about whether you want to wait for prices to drop, but keep in mind that newer models can take time to go down in price too.
Remember, there's always going to be newer hardware coming out. If you keep waiting, you'll just find yourself stuck in a loop. Plus, the 5090 is still pretty new!
That's true, I guess I'll just have to make a choice soon.
Have you checked if they're available? You can usually find some decent deals online. You could try sites like PCPartPicker for the latest prices and availability!
Right? It feels like you'll always be waiting for something better to drop!
