I'm planning to upgrade my CPU and motherboard, so I'll need DDR5 RAM. I've noticed prices are really high right now, probably due to the AI boom, and it seems like they might just keep climbing. Do you think I should buy it now, or wait and see if prices drop?

MicroCenter has a bundle deal for CPUs, motherboards, and RAM that looks really good right now. I’m checking these deals out because I want to build my PC before prices potentially go even higher!
It's usually a good idea to buy before prices shoot up even more. The tricky part is that nobody can really predict when the market will stabilize or how much it might increase. Ask yourself these two questions: Do you actually need RAM right now? And can you afford it? If the answer is yes to both, then go for it!
Are there any specific brands of RAM you'd all recommend?
Honestly, I don’t see prices getting better anytime soon. If you need DDR5 now, it might be worth it to just pull the trigger and buy.
If you can, I’d stick with DDR4 for now. You can still run a 5800X3D on AM4, and you might want to save your cash for a solid GPU since that’s where the real performance gains are.

Yeah, I saw that too! Definitely worth grabbing if you can.
