I'm currently in the process of building a PC, and I'm concerned about the latest news regarding Nvidia no longer supplying VRAM to manufacturers. Should I rush to buy my GPU now to avoid potential price hikes as stock decreases? Is this change limited to laptops, or will it also impact desktop GPUs from brands like MSI and Asus?

I think prices are definitely going to increase. With the memory chip shortage, once the stock starts to dwindle, manufacturers will raise their prices pretty quickly.

Wait, are you saying that VRAM isn't coming with GPUs anymore? Just to clarify, Nvidia isn't supplying VRAM to the manufacturers anymore for their cards, which means they have to source it themselves now. That’s a big deal!

Exactly! Nvidia's decision will really put AIB partners in a tight spot. It might be rough for PC builders over the next couple of years.
