Hey folks! I'm weighing my options for a new graphics card and could use some guidance. I'm torn between getting the RTX 5060 or saving up for the 5060 Ti with 16GB of VRAM. I know the 5060 Ti has better performance and more VRAM, which is great for future games, but I'm on a budget. The 5060 is available for about $400, while the 5060 Ti would cost me an extra $100 to $250 more through Amazon, or $150 more if I buy it locally. I plan to play games like Monster Hunter Wilds, Cyberpunk 2077, and upcoming titles like Atomic Heart, all at 1080p. Since this is my first GPU ever, I'm not looking to upgrade from anything. I appreciate any advice!

If the 5060 is tempting, I'd say hold out for the 5060 Ti. Try to find a better deal or just wait a little longer. The performance improvement is worth the wait and might save you from an upgrade sooner than expected.
I'd say get the 16GB version, for sure. It will keep you satisfied for longer, and you'll avoid hitting a wall with performance issues down the road. It'll be worth the extra cash over settling for the 5060.
Honestly, I'd recommend going for the 5060 Ti. Even though it costs more, having a card with 16GB of VRAM is going to make a big difference, especially for those demanding games you mentioned. Buying an 8GB card is something you might regret later, especially as games keep getting more demanding.
Yeah, I made that mistake before too. An 8GB card just won't cut it in a few years!
Totally agree! Prices might drop soon too, so patience could pay off.
