I'm currently using 32GB of G.SKILL TridentZ DDR4 3200 RAM with CL14-14-14-34 timings. I'm looking to expand my RAM by adding another 32GB but can only find my exact model on eBay. There's a used set for $165, or I could get a brand new 64GB set with slower timings of CL18-22-22-42 for around $100-$150. What's the better option? Is it worth paying extra for the same timing, or should I go with the new slower RAM?

Honestly, just grab the 2x32GB kit. It's going to be cheaper and faster, with less chance of issues down the road.
It really depends on what you use your PC for. If you're into gaming, the timing differences might not be a big deal. However, if you're doing heavy tasks like music production or running multiple plugins, keeping those lower timings could help.
Yeah, I work with software like FL Studio and After Effects too. I find that more RAM definitely helps, especially for intensive tasks.
