I'm on a budget and trying to decide between the 5060 with 8GB of VRAM and the 3060 with 12GB of VRAM for 1080p gaming. I have a 1080p 60Hz TV, so I'm wondering which card will perform better, especially with some cross-generation games. The 3060 struggles to hit 60fps in some titles, plus it has issues with emulation. However, I'm concerned that the 5060's 8GB VRAM might not hold up until the end of this gaming generation. Both cards are the same price in my country, so I'm feeling a bit stuck. What should I choose?

If the prices are the same, I’d recommend going with the 5060. It outperforms the 3060 thanks to its newer features. You might want to check out some comparison videos, like the ones from Toasty Bros, to see how they stack up against each other.
Honestly, the 3060 is pretty good for 1080p and rarely struggles to hit 60fps. Just a heads-up, it's better to buy used to save some cash!
I’m not too comfortable with the used market here in Egypt though.
