Hey everyone, I'm diving into building my first PC and could use some advice. I'm trying to decide between going with an AM4 setup featuring the Ryzen 5 5600 or stepping up to an AM5 with the Ryzen 5 7500F. My budget is around 50k to 60k Philippine pesos, which needs to cover everything including a monitor. Just to give you some context, my current rig is pretty basic with a Ryzen 3 3200G, no dedicated GPU, and 16GB of RAM. What do you think is the better option?

AM5 without a doubt! Sure, it might be a bit more expensive, but considering you're building for the long haul, it's worth it. Just think of all the upgrades you could potentially make down the line! Plus, the performance from the Ryzen 7500F is impressive.

Definitely go for AM5! It's still new and you'll see more future CPU options coming out. The Ryzen 5 7500F is a solid upgrade over the 5600, plus you'll have a more versatile platform for the next few years. I think the extra investment will pay off in the long run.
