I'm putting together a gaming rig and I'm at a crossroads. I'm considering whether to go with the 5070Ti or spend an extra £270 on the 5080. My main game is Minecraft, and I'm planning to run it with over 250 mods and some pretty demanding shaders in 4K. What do you all think? Is the upgrade to the 5080 worth it? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Honestly, the 5070Ti should be plenty powerful for what you're doing. The game can run at 4K even on lower hardware, so unless you're using really heavy mods and shaders, you might not need the 5080 at all.
Exactly! It really comes down to how demanding those mods are. Vanilla Minecraft can run on integrated graphics!
I wouldn't spend the extra £270 on the 5080. For most games, including Minecraft with mods, the 5070Ti should handle it almost just as effectively as the 5080.
If you're heavily modding and using high-end shaders, then it might be worth considering the 5080. But if you're just playing casually, the 5070Ti is a solid choice without breaking the bank.
Yeah, but with over 250 mods and heavy shaders, I’m not sure. I’ve seen rigs struggle with high-end textures and shaders, even the 4090 can choke on them.
