I'm trying to decide between the ASUS TUF Gaming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti OC and the newer RTX 5070. The 4070 Ti is priced around $600, while the 5070 costs $850. I read that the 5070 is superior, but how significant is the performance improvement? Is spending an extra $250 really worth it? I want to play games like Witcher and Baldur's Gate.

I’d always opt for the newer GPU if you can. The 5070 offers 4x frame generation, which means in a few years, when gaming performance starts to dip, you can enable that feature to extend its life and keep up with new games.
