I'm putting together a new PC that I want to last for a good while, and I'm stuck deciding between two graphics cards. I can get the RTX 5070 Founders Edition at MSRP, but I also have the option to purchase a Sapphire Pulse 9070XT for around $780, which is about $200 more. I know that the 9070XT performs better overall, but I'm wondering if that extra $200 is justified. I'll be gaming at 1440p with a Ryzen 7 7700X. What do you all think?

I've been really happy with my 5070! Sure, I wish I could’ve snagged the 9070XT when it was cheaper, but the 5070 performs great at 1440p for most games. However, when you turn on ray tracing, the FPS can drop unless you use frame generation, which I've found works well enough for casual play. So, I'm still pleased with my choice!
I've noticed that games like Stalker 2 and Cyberpunk still run pretty decently with 3x frame generation and ray tracing on the 5070. I'm quite impressed with its performance!
