I'm thinking about upgrading my GPU and was initially set on the RTX 5070 since it's about €609, which is already stretching my budget. However, I've heard some suggestions to consider the RX 9070 XT instead. It's priced at €749—do you think it's worth the extra €140 for the 9070 XT?

Definitely worth considering the 9070 XT if you can handle the price bump and if you play demanding games. Just think about your overall build and future upgrades.

Great point! Making sure everything else in my build complements the GPU is key.

Also, keep an eye on CUDA features if that's important for rendering.

If your budget allows for it, I'd definitely go for the RX 9070 XT. But if you're really pushing it, stick with the RTX 5070 for now. You don't want to end up regretting a stretch in your finances.

Yeah, that's my dilemma too! I want to keep it under €600, but it's tough seeing a better option just a little pricier.

I feel you! I went for the RX 9070 XT a few weeks ago because the prices were all over the place.

If budget is tight, go for the RTX 5070. It’s solid and you'll be able to enjoy your games without issue for a while. But if you really can stretch a bit, the 9070 XT has advantages that might be worth it!

VirtualRealityFan -

Good to know! I think I’ll just stick with the 5070 for now.

Exactly! I did the same and it turned out well.

The RX 9070 XT is indeed better in raster performance and it has more VRAM. Just realize it might consume more power too, but for the price, it could be worth it in the long run!

OldSchoolGamer -

Yeah, but don't forget about how power consumption might affect your electric bill.

CriticalGamer88 -

True! The 16GB of VRAM is a big deal for future-proofing.
