I'm trying to decide whether the Ryzen 5 5600X or the 7600X is the better choice for my new gaming build that includes a 3070 Ti. I've seen a lot of recommendations for the 5600X, but I'm also considering whether investing in the newer AM5 platform with the 7600X would be a smarter move for future-proofing. Any thoughts?

I’d recommend going for the 7600 or even the 7500F if you're looking to save some cash. They’re great options that will pair well with your 3070 Ti.
Honestly, I don't see a good reason to go with the AM4 platform for a new build unless you're super tight on budget. The performance and upgrade options with the AM5 setup are definitely worth it, especially for gaming.
Yeah, I think if you're going new, the 7600X is the way to go.
Only consider the AM4 if you’re picking up used parts. Starting with an AM5 setup gives you way more room for upgrades down the line!
Exactly! Plus, DDR5 prices are dropping, making it a solid choice to go with the latest tech.
