I'm torn between picking the Ryzen 7 9800X3D and 7800X3D to pair with my 9070XT. There's just a $90 AUD price difference between the two. Do you think it's worth it to go for the 9800X3D, or should I save some cash and stick with the 7800X3D?

If you're paying only AU$90 more, definitely grab the 9800X3D. If the delta were over AU$200, then it might make you think twice, but at this range, it's worth it.
Honestly, it's a personal choice since both CPUs are solid options. For just a $90 difference, I say go for the 9800X3D. You’ll get better performance for a minimal added cost.
