I'm trying to decide whether I should stick with Windows 10 or upgrade to Windows 11. With Microsoft ending support for Windows 10 soon, it seems like Windows 11 is the way to go. However, I'm a bit nervous about the recent security updates and the potential for them to cause issues or even brick my system. Is it safer to stick with Windows 10 for now, or should I make the jump to Windows 11?

Honestly, you shouldn't be running a non-supported OS. Windows 10 is really nearing the end of its lifeline, so just go with Windows 11 for the future-proofing.
I get your concern about the updates, but honestly, I'd be more worried about security threats from hackers than a slight chance of an update messing things up. Windows 11 is more secure overall, so I would recommend going for it!
I hear you! I did some digging on drivers and felt safe since mine aren't affected, but I've seen sources like Jayz point out SSDs unexpectedly causing issues, so I think I'm going to give Windows 11 a shot too.
For anyone who still loves Windows 10, you can opt for LTSC which is supported until 2030. But with new hardware often not getting support on Windows 10, it's really better to move on.
I've been using Windows 11 LTSC and have had zero issues. All my machines run smoothly and fast, whether I'm on Windows or occasionally booting into Linux. A fresh install on Windows 11 is worthwhile, and you'll see improvements in speed!
Thanks for that info! I was leaning towards waiting, but with these security concerns about Windows 10, I'm definitely convinced to switch to Windows 11 sooner.
While I really enjoy Windows 10, I have to say it's getting outdated. With the looming end of support, Windows 11 is definitely the safer choice. Plus, new features and security enhancements are worth it!
Exactly! It's tough to move on from Windows 10, but if security is your main concern, then Windows 11 sounds like the smarter pick.

Agreed! Seems like Windows 11 is the clear path forward.
