Should I Donate My Old PC or Just Recycle It?

I'm looking to clear out some space and I have an older PC that I'm considering donating instead of just recycling it. Before I go ahead, I want to know if it's actually worth donating. It has a decent setup, and I'd love to hear if it could still run popular games like Fortnite. My specs are: CPU i5 11400f, GPU 1660 Super, 16 GB DDR4 RAM, a TUF Gaming B560M Plus WiFi motherboard, and a 1TB SSD. Is there anyone who might get some good use out of this, or should I just scrap it?

Definitely consider donating it! The specs you mentioned are still pretty solid for most current games that aren't super demanding. A kid or someone who doesn't have a gaming rig would really appreciate having that PC. It could seriously make their week!

Or maybe even a whole year depending on how much they've been wanting a gaming setup!

Your PC can definitely run older and easy-to-run games, so it's worth donating. Many kids would be thrilled to have it, especially if they don’t have access to a gaming computer at all. Find a family in need or a local community center that might take it!

Those specs are pretty relevant today! If you can connect with someone who wants a gaming PC but can't afford one, your old rig would be perfect for them.

This is a great PC for kids or families in need. Fortnite's still being played a lot, so throwing this into the mix could make a lot of young gamers happy!
