Hey everyone! I'm currently in the second semester of my Computer Science Engineering program, and I'm trying to decide between focusing on Web Development or Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA). I've heard a lot about both fields, and I'm not sure which one would be more beneficial to start with during my first year. Should I work on projects and develop web skills, or should I prioritize building a strong foundation in DSA first? Is there a way to balance both effectively? I'd really appreciate some guidance from anyone who's been through this phase. Thanks!

I recommend taking a course in DSA. It's fundamental to computer science and remains relevant. You can do web development projects as hobbies since the field changes rapidly, and any class material can become outdated pretty fast. Plus, creating websites can be a fun way to stay motivated!
