Hey everyone! I'm looking to buy a new charging cord for my 2018 MacBook Pro 13-inch. I found a great deal on two options: a 60W and a 100W cord. I know the MacBook comes with a 61W charger, so I'm wondering if using the 60W cord would make it charge slower or cause any issues. Would the 100W be better in any way? I'm mainly interested because the 60W cord is much longer. What do you think?

Honestly, the charging speed is more about the charger than the cable. As long as your charger is capable of delivering the right wattage, you should be fine with a 60W cord for your MacBook. Just keep in mind that if you're using a 100W capable charger, having that cord could help you charge up at full speed when you need it. Plus, if you really need that longer length, it may be worth it!
So, if my charger can do 61W, is there actually a noticeable difference using the 60W instead of the 61W? I just feel like 1W doesn't sound like much.
