Should I Go for the 5080 or 5070 Ti GPU for My New PC?

I'm in the process of building a new PC and my budget for the graphics card is between $1500 and $1600. I've been considering the 5080, but I've heard some people suggest that the 5070 Ti might be a better choice since the price difference is around 30%, but the performance gain is only about 15%. However, I have the funds for the more expensive card. What do you think? I'm planning to do a lot of gaming and streaming at resolutions ranging from 1080p to 1440p and possibly even 4K for story-driven games.

If you're after the best performance, the 5080 is the way to go. Just be aware that the trade-off of spending more for slightly better performance is something to keep in mind, but if you've got the cash, go for it!

Keep in mind that the 5070 Ti comes with one decoder for streaming, while the 5080 has two. So, if you're planning on a big streaming setup and want to avoid CPU bottlenecks, the 5080 is definitely the better option.

Seriously, who even suggests that? If your budget allows for the 5080, then go for it without hesitation! Only consider the 5070 Ti if you're tight on funds or looking for price-to-performance value.
