I'm excited to build a new PC but want to keep my current 6700XT for now since it still runs the games I play well. I'm looking into bundles from Micro Center, especially the Ryzen 5 7600X3D and Ryzen 9 8000X3D bundles. The 8000X3D is $600 and the 7600X3D is $400. My goal is to future-proof my build while minimizing my investment now, so I'm wondering if the performance boost of the 8000X3D justifies the higher price. What do you all think?

If you want to save some cash, the 7700X3D or 7800X3D could be decent alternatives. They handle gaming well, and you might find them at a lower price point.
The 8000X3D definitely offers a solid performance boost over the earlier models, especially with those extra cores. If the $600 fits your budget, I'd say go for it! You’ll have a much better setup for future upgrades and demanding tasks.
Good point! The 7800X3D does sound tempting with its performance.
