I recently got my hands on an ASUS Tuff 5080 for $1000 since the seller wasn't aware of its value. Right now, I mostly play RuneScape 3 and League of Legends. I'm wondering if I should keep this powerful GPU or sell it. My current setup includes a GTX 1080, an i7-8700k CPU, 16GB of RAM, and two Alienware Ultra Wide monitors (AW3821). While my graphics are acceptable as is, I'm concerned the 5080 might be too much for the games I play. Are there any good alternatives to consider if I decide to sell it?

I'd say sell it at market price. You could use that cash to pick up some game skins—definitely worth the upgrade for your collection!
Keeping the 5080 might be a good idea if you plan on upgrading your system in the future. It'll last you quite a while and give better performance if you decide to dive into more demanding games down the line.
I think you should wait for the next GPU series. I've heard rumors that the future GPUs will really cater to games like League, especially to hit those higher FPS rates.
Honestly, if you're only playing those games, the 5080 is definitely overkill. You might be better off selling it and using the funds for something you find more useful, like a better screen or maybe a solid refresh on your GPU setup later on.
Exactly! Plus, you could probably get a nice upgrade for your current screen or even look for a decent mid-range GPU that suits your needs better.
From what I've seen, the 5080 won't really shine on games like RuneScape or League—they tend to run fine on much older hardware. You're probably good sticking with what you have.
True, it's smart to have a powerful GPU for later, but it might just be more than you need for now.
