I recently opened up my used PC to replace some components, and the side panel shattered. It's still somewhat intact but has cracks. I've attached a photo for reference. Is it safe to keep using my PC like this? If not, what options do I have to cover it up and protect the internals?

Honestly, it looks pretty cool with the shattered design! But, if it starts to break apart completely, you'll have a bigger issue. You might want to look for a replacement panel from a well-known case manufacturer if you can. Until then, consider using something like thick clear plastic sheets to hold it together.
I've seen those tapes holding it, but just a heads up, it might not hold forever. Keep an eye on it!
