Should I Merge My Two Drives or Just Change Save Locations?

I'm in a bit of a dilemma with my two 1TB m.2 drives. I was thinking about merging them in the Disk Management window, but I've come across videos that say I need empty space next to my C drive to do that. The issue is my recovery partition is in the way, and while some videos suggest deleting that partition, I'm a bit hesitant. I noticed the Recovery Drive setup in settings too—if I delete the recovery partition, can I still use the Recovery Drive to restore it later?

On another note, I'm also aware that I could just tell Windows to save new files on my second drive, which is currently empty. Should I just set it up to save there when my first drive runs out of space, or is merging the drives a better option? Any advice on merging drives would also be appreciated!

You really don’t need to merge the two drives. They’re separate physical drives, and it’s perfectly fine to use them independently. Just configure your Windows settings to save new files on the second drive when your first one fills up.

Got it, but what if I want to use both drives more efficiently? Would RAID be a solution?
