Should I Remove My Glass Side Panel for Better PC Cooling?

I've been experiencing poor airflow in my prebuilt PC. When I play games, my GPU temperature shoots up to around 81-82°C with the glass side panel on. However, if I take the panel off, the temperature drops to about 73-75°C almost immediately. I don't have any pets, and my PC is safely placed on my desk. I've read mixed opinions online about removing the panel. Could it actually be a better idea in my case, or should I aim to improve the cooling in another way? I see that I might add fans at the top of the case. Currently, I only have fans set to exhaust, with no intake. Is there a recommended setup for improving airflow? Also, I found my exact PC configuration online. Any suggestions?

Dust is a valid concern! If you have all exhaust fans, you'll pull air in from every crack, which means lots of dust. Try switching one or two of those exhaust fans to intake to create better airflow and pressure. Keeping the side panel off may help temperatures, but it can get dusty, so blow out the dust more often if you do.

Thanks for the tip! I'm going to give that a shot.
